Zga. (Zygoneria) Sweet Jade ‘Sweet Cheyenne’ (Zga. Pine Road × Zygo. Arthur Elle) is the most beautiful Green Zygopetalum hybrid. The flowers are green with maroon center spots and striking white, purple lip. You will enjoy their apple scent in warm temperature.
The plant we offer is an overgrown, large plant ready for a bigger pot. It has some new growths ready to start blooming in Spring and Fall. You can grow them outdoors, under bright shade with the cool breeze at day and night time. Keep it moist most of the time and let it little dryer in the winter for better blooming. Keep in mind the Zygopetalum and its hybrids will bloom on the young new growths, so avoid watering late in the day on the crown.
Zga. (Zygoneria) is an intergeneric cross between Neogardneria and Zygopetalum. The plants’ growth habit is like a Zygopetalum, large sized with thin leaves. This orchid usually has a spicy scent in warm temperatures. You will enjoy the beauty and fragrant of this unusual Zygopetalum Hybrid.
