Coelogyne cristata would definitely be the most popular and most widely grown of all the Coelogynes. The large (3" +) wavy, pristine white, long lasting and fragrant flowers, with their beautiful clear yellow gold markings, are an instant hit with orchid growers and the general public.  It is a small to medium sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte that blooms in mid Winter to early Spring. Large specimens with dozens of pendulous spikes, each with up to 10 flowers, make a sight never to be forgotten.

You can grow Coelogyne cristata in a basket filled with sphagnum moss to keep the moisture for few days; or mounted on a long piece of wood and water daily if you have high humidity in your growing area. A nice species with pendant spikes for your enjoyment from Winter to Spring!
